I agree Howard everyone’s interpretation of a subject is never the same. Just look at all the iconic National Park images the same subject but how we photograph them in the different seasons, light, perspective and weather conditions always create a new and unique image.
Yes. And even what we find interesting to photograph can be different. I remember going to Cuyahoga National Park with a friend to photograph. We had Robert Hitchman’s Photograph America newsletter (which I enjoy getting) and which was very helpful. But, interestingly, we went to the spot in the park that he absolutely raved about (The Ledges) and my friend and I just looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders, with neither of us being drawn to that particluar area.
